Clipsal by Schneider Electric will continue itslongstanding relationship with one of the world's most proclaimed touring car events after re-signing as naming rights sponsor of the Clipsal 500 Adelaide until 2017.
The announcement was made today by Tourism Minister Leon Bignell and Clipsal by Schneider Electric Director of Sales Grantley White with the complete adrenaline pumping on-track line up for the 2015 event was also revealed.
'The Clipsal brand has a strong connection with Adelaide dating back many years. They employ 1500 local South Australian workers and are a part of this city's fabric so I'm proud to announce they'll be continuing their association with one of Adelaide's premier entertainment events,' Bignell says.
White said the Clipsal 500 has become an integral part of how the company engages with the Adelaide community and corporate customers.
'We see our partnership with the Clipsal 500 as the perfect platform to engage with the local Adelaide community. It also complements the other great community work we do in Adelaide like the Julian Burton Burns Trust. Each year we host over 1200 of our dedicated trade customer base from all over Australia at the event who also participate in valuable customer business sessions,' White said.
The 2015 Clipsal 500 Adelaide will comprise a total of eight race categories, including action packed V8 Supercars racing featuring two 125 kilometre races on the Saturday, and the ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootout and the final 250 kilometre leg of the Clipsal 500 on the Sunday.
Headlining the support category line-up is Robby Gordon's Stadium Super Trucks and the Ferrari Asia-Pacific Challenge Series which will both feature on the starting grid for the first time in the race's history. Ferrari will also be putting on a show off the track with the Ferrari Supercar Display where motorsport fans will see a rare lineup such as the Ferrari F50, the Enzo and prestigious La Ferrari.
The Australian GT category will also be returning for the first time since 2012, whilst the Dunlop Series, Touring Car Masters, V8 Utes and the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia will remain in the all mighty fixture.
'The Clipsal name is synonymous with our event so to extend that partnership until 2017 is really pleasing. We've put together one of the most exciting on-track racing schedules in the event's history, with more entertainment announcements still to come,' Clipsal 500 CEO Mark Warren said.

Clipsal C-BUS Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with Clipsal lighting controller of Schneider Electric Pty Ltd. in Australia.

1. Read settings

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:
1) STATION – Unit address = 0 ~ 255.
2) Read command – Read device type = TER = Read of Terminal Levels, GROUP = Read of Group Address Levels.
3) Read Start Address – Don't care.
4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.
5) Read Size – Fixed to 1.

Readed data of Clipsal C-BUS communication driver changed according to unit and the data value range is 0 ~ 255.

2. Writing settings
You can write(relay, dimmer value) Clipsal C-BUS by using write settings.
Digital Write
Digital write and analog write have the same setting parameters except output value.
Analog Write
Analog write setting parameters are as follows:
1) PORT Port no. (0 ~ 255)
2) STATION Group address = 0 ~ 255.
3) ADDRESS Don't care.

DIM = Setting of Dimmer group( output range = 0 ~ 255 ),
SMART = Change to Smart Mode command,
CON = Relay control. Download windows 10. (0 = Off, 1 ~ 255 = On )

4. Setting of Smart and Burden mode
Clipsal C-BUS communication driver support Smart and Burden mode of Clipsal controller.
Setting of Smart and Burden mode use ‘CBus Diagnostic Utility’ program, provided by Clipsal( Schneider Electric ).
1) Run ‘CBus Diagnostic Utility’ program. <Figure 5> is an example of main screen of 'CBus Diagnostic Utility’.

2) Connect Clipsal controller by using ‘C-Bus|Connect to C-Bus’ menu at <Figure 5>.
3) After the connection is completed, select ‘C-Bus|Set Mode’ menu. Then opens dialog box such as <Figure 6>.
4) Please check( v ) 'SMART' of ‘Interface Option1’and ‘Power Up Settings’ at <Figure 6>.
5) Also check( v ) 'Burden' of ‘Interface Option2’. Press 'OK' button, the Smart and Burden mode setting is complete.
